About Ghanaian driving and DVLA tests

Driving licensing in Ghana is administered by the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) under the Road Traffic Act 2004 (Act 683), updated by the Road Traffic (Amendment) Act 2025. Every new driver must pass the DVLA theory test, which is based on the Ghana Highway Code, before taking a practical driving test.

This reviewer is free and self-paced, written from the Ghana Highway Code and DVLA materials. Ghana drives on the right, and the theory test has 10 questions with a 9 out of 10 pass mark.
