You may pass a vehicle on its left-hand side when:

  • BThe vehicle ahead is turning right, or you are in the correct lane of a one-way or multi-lane roadCorrect

  • DThe vehicle ahead is faster than you

Answer

The vehicle ahead is turning right, or you are in the correct lane of a one-way or multi-lane road

Passing on the left is allowed in limited cases, such as when the vehicle ahead is signalling and turning right, or where lanes of traffic move in the same direction and you stay in your lane.
